Margaret Hoeger, also known as Maggie, has been a resident of Upper Southampton for the last 21 years and is currently an Upper Southampton Township Supervisor. As an accountant for more than 20 years and owner of several small businesses in our township, Maggie serves our great community and strives to keep Southampton "a nice place to live.”
In addition to exercising neutrality and accountability in imparting the board's directives, Maggie is committed to listening to Upper South’s residents' concerns and providing thoughtful consideration to everyone. Maggie’s current and past leadership roles and her vested interest in serving the community of Southampton help her to carry out the responsibilities as a member of the Board of Supervisors.
Maggie previously served on the Upper Southampton Zoning Board, but resigned from the Board after being appointed Supervisor. As a voting delegate for Upper Southampton to the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors Annual Conference, Maggie represented Upper Southampton Township on critical statewide issues and continues to educate herself through classes and workshops.
Maggie is married to Martin Hoeger, an Upper Southampton resident for 46 years, and they have two children. Maggie also serves as president of a nonprofit organization, Take a Swing at Cancer, which she started with her husband in 2017. Take a Swing at Cancer provides financial assistance to community members and their families who require support due to the hardships caused by this horrible disease.
